Paddle for Palliative Care BBQ
Join Andrew Stace, the man paddling 650km down the Murray River for a BBQ after his 17 day journey.
Andrew is paddling to raise money for Pediatric Palliative Care, after 3 month old Jeremy Becker was diagnosied with Krabbe’s disease, a rare genetic illness which leads to deafness, blindness and paralysis beore death. Andrew’s journey, which starts at the South Australian/New South Wales border on June 30 finishes at the Goolwa Yacht Club, 17 days and some 650km later, on July 16.
You can join Andrew and his supporters for a BBQ on the lawn between the Goolwa Yacht Club and the Aquacaf on July 16 at 11.30am. All proceeds from the paddle and BBQ will go towards the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Pediatric Palliative service. You can also make a donation to the hospital on 8161 6936 or sponsor someone you know to paddle with Andrew for part of the journey.
We would love to see many people at the BBQ to welcome Andrew back as he finishes.
