Looking to apply for a grant for your club, well there are a number of grants that are available that your club can apply for. Below is a list of current and new grants that are provided through Office for Recretion and Sport.

Current Grants
Move It Program   Current Round Status: Opening 9 June 2007 and closing 23 July 2007. 
The Move It! Making Communities Active Program provides financial assistance to sport, active recreation and physical activity organisations for projects that target inactive or insufficiently active people in South Australia.  The health benefits of being active are well known, yet nearly half of the South Australian population are not sufficiently active. Applicants can apply for up to $50,000 per year.  Funding for a project can be approved for up to 3 years.

Community Water Grants  Current Round Status: Round 3 Now Open til 4 July
The Grants programme is part of the Australian Government Water Fund. $200 million has been made available for projects involving local communities that will result in wise water use. More information

New Grants
Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program   Next Round: Anticipated July 2007.
The specific objective of the Community Recreation and Sport Facilities Program is to sustain and/or increase participation in sport, active recreation and physical activity.The program aims to achieve this by providing funding support to community based organisations, Local Government, State sporting and active recreation associations and schools to develop or improve existing facilities so that they meet the demonstrated sport or active recreation needs of the community.  More information

The Active Club Program provides financial assistance to South Australian not for profit community-based active recreation and sporting organisations to develop and expand the services they provide, thereby increasing the community's access to quality active recreation and sport activities and facilities. More information
