Racing on Day 2 of the South Australian State Canoe Kayak Sprint Championships has commenced with competitors racing hard initially under trying conditions for the 200m events.
A stiff southerly breeze was making starts difficult for competitors and officials however it has provided some fast times for those in control.
As the morning continued, the wind abated and the sun came out which providing excellent conditions for racing.
MIdday update: Winds have abated and the conditions are brilliant.
