Rolling is a skill for all kayakers to learn. One day you will capsize and being able to self-rescue will make you
more confident wherever you choose to paddle.
The course will start with water-confidence, edging your kayak, and progress through assisted rescues to rolling.
Also covered will be re-enter and roll and using paddle floats or aids for re-entry.

Cost: $50 / session
Equipment: use your own paddling equipment (kayak, deck, paddle, pfd) If you are starting out, also bring a
diving,snorkelling mask or swimming goggles. wet suit or thermals to keep you warm. cag or spray jacket to
keep the wind off. You will need to dress for immersion.
Required: reasonable level of fitness and flexibility
