Congratulations to the five South Australians who competed from the 3rd to the 9th of September in Ville de Prado, Portugal.
Cathy Venning completed 3 fantastic races in the ICF Canoe Marathon World Cup with gold in the K2 Women and K2 Mixed (40-45) and silver in the K1 (40-45).
For the first time we had women C1 paddlers from our state competing in the ICF Canoe Marathon World Championships.
Chloe Jenkin at only 16 years old, came 13th in the Junior (under 18) C1 race.
Kristen Woodcock came 14th in the Open Women’s C1.
Glenn Rypp also competed in the championships for the first time, coming 19th in K1 open mens.
Liam Dohnt also competed in the K2 Juniors.
