Canoeing at The Lake, Tintinara SA

We are excited to return to Tintinara for a social getaway! For canoe polo enthusiasts, this event is an opportunity to hit the road for a day of social canoe polo on Saturday 16 November 10am – 5.00pm. $30 covers registration, lunch and BBQ tea. Free on-site camping available too!

The winning team gets to claim the decadent cake!

Two come and try canoeing sessions will be held for local Coorong/Tatiara residents too on Saturday 10am-12pm (group session) with further 1-1 coaching offered on Sunday 10am -2pm. $10 to cover insurance entitles participation in both sessions.

Re-Commencement of Sunday Trainings

With the weather continuing to warm up, Sunday morning trainings are set to start on the 3rd of November at Corcoran Drive, West Lakes. We will begin training at 9:00am and train for 1-2hours. All players looking to get involved for the first time, improve their skills or aim for state representative teams at next years’ Nationals are encouraged to come out and make the most of these sessions.

Unfortunately the gear trailer will not be available, so please contact us by replying to this email or messaging our Facebook if you are in need of any gear. We can easily organise to bring out a full set of equipment for you, all you need to do is ask!

2019 Paddle SA Awards and AGM

The 2019 Paddle SA Awards night and AGM is being held at The Highway, Anzac Highway Plympton, this Sunday the 20th of October. All members of the kayaking community are welcome to attend with family and friends. The AGM will begin at 2:00pm, with awards from 3:30pm-5:30pm. Development Camp

South Australia will once again be hosting a Development Camp in the week before our Australia Day Summer Series event! This Development Camp will be open to players of all ages and origins, so we look forward to seeing participants come together from all across the country once again this year.

As is tradition, the Camp will involve three days of training, led by some of the most knowledgeable players in the country, accompanied by informative presentations about what it takes to reach the top of our sport.

So block out Tuesday the 21st to Thursday the 23rd of January in your calendars, because this annual opportunity to turbocharge your skills and broaden your knowledge is too good to miss.

On the Horizon: Payneham Summer Season

Our next season of Canoe Polo in South Australia will begin shortly after our home Summer Series event over the Australia Day long weekend.

We will be back at Payneham Pool on Wednesday nights, starting on the 5th of February (just enough time for the pool to warm right up)! More details to come.

2020 Nationals

It’s time to start thinking about training and planning for next year’s Nationals. Nominations will be released in the next few weeks as soon as a venue is confirmed, so keep an eye on your emails and get ready for Sunday trainings back at Corcoran Drive.

 2020 World Championships: Expressions of Interest

The Australian Canoe Polo Technical Committee invites athletes to send and Expression of Interest (EOI) to join the Australian Men and Women’s Team Squads for selection to compete at the 2020 World Canoe Polo Championships in Rome Italy.

The EOI involves sending an email by 3 December 2019 to with the following details: Name, DOB, Paddle Australia Number, Canoe Club.
